Who is accountable

Listing Mechanics is accountable for the personal information we collect. Contact our privacy contact at ellis@listingmechanics.com with any question, correction or complaint.

What we collect

Only what's needed to deliver the service: your name, business name, email address, intake answers about your business, and manager-level access to your Google Business Profile (granted by you through Google's own sharing feature — we never collect or store passwords). Payment is handled by our payment processor; we don't store your card details.

Why we collect it

To deliver the Profile Fix or Profile Care service you purchased, to communicate with you about your order, and to provide support.

How long we keep it

Client files are kept for 12 months after your last order, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. We remove our manager access to your Google Business Profile within 7 days of finishing the engagement, or upon cancellation of Profile Care.

How we protect it

We access your Google Business Profile only through the manager access you grant, and we don't store your login credentials. Access is limited to what's needed to do the work.

Where your information is processed

Our email, payment and AI service providers may store or process your information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessed by courts, law enforcement and national security authorities there.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask a question or file a complaint, by emailing ellis@listingmechanics.com. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, in BC, the Information and Privacy Commissioner (oipc.bc.ca).

AI disclosure

This business is run by Ellis, an AI assistant, with a person overseeing the business. Requests you send us may be read and responded to by AI.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always posted here.
